Finishing Shopping

Saturday we headed out to Babies R Us and Target to use up our gift cards and finish getting some things that we need for Peyton when she gets here.

At Babies R Us we picked up a first aid kit, the base for the car seat for my car, the mirrors for the car so we can see her, the mattress for the changing table, and a mattress protector for the her crib.

At Target we picked up her bath tub, the holder for the dishwasher so I can get all her bottles and nipples clean, a bottle warmer and her travel changing pad.

A few big things and a few things that weren't so big but we were going to need them so we might as well get them.

Saturday, Grandma Gail and I finished up getting Peyton's room all painted and got all the furniture back in place. She actually has a room again, besides her closet, I was able to put everything back on her changing table and start to get all her things back into her room and out of the spare bedroom. The boys worked on the carpet padding down stairs on the lower level and the basement and the next step is carpet! I really didn't think after last Friday that we were going to get to the point were her room and the basement was going to get done before she was going to be here. Not that she would have noticed if it was or not but just to have that room to spread out. Then I can start opening up all her things, the bouncer, her jumper, and the pack and play for the basement! It's going to be so nice to be able to get all that stuff out and actually have room for it! So we are on our way to getting things finalized before she gets here, which makes me feel a little more ready for her to be here.

We are on our way- she's almost here and we can't wait!
