Our Little Troublemaker!

So Friday afternoon's apt was a little nerve wreaking thanks to Peyton, the little trouble maker!

We went in for what we thought would be another "yep everything is okay" apt.
It turned out to be almost 2 hours of panic... At least for R and I.
Hamel went to check the heart beat and couldn't find it, he checked for a little while, checking in different places and pressing on my stomach, but wasn't getting anything. I could see the worry on his face a little bit, but he would move his hand and she would kick me. And I mentioned to him that she had been all over the place all day.

So he thought that he would give her a break and checked to see if I was dilated any, which he said I still wasn't, but her head was still down and he tried to aggravate my cervix a little more.

After that he tried to listen to the heartbeat again, this time he got it for maybe 4-5 beats but it didn't stay so he told us he wanted to do the NST to check, told me to get dressed and he would be right back. And boy was he right back, I just got dressed and he was back in the room taking us for an emergency ultrasound. That was scary... he wanted to check the heartbeat with the ultrasound and wanted to check the fluid to make sure there was still enough.

We went in for the ultrasound that was already stressful, and they had to wait for the order to be put in and then wait for my name to come up on the screen. With in this time, Hamel came in twice, so while we were just sitting there waiting that was already hard, it was more stressful with him coming in to check up on how it was going. Once they started doing the ultrasound, they found the heartbeat right away getting 154 and then she was checking the fluid and he came back in. They checked the heartbeat again when he was in the room and he lighted the mood because he was like you've just got a little trouble maker on a Friday afternoon. She was just rolling around and that was why the were having such a hard time finding her heartbeat. He was checking for her heart beat lower and she wasn't sitting still long enough to get it for him and then even in the ultrasound she was just moving around.

After the ultrasound he said he still wanted to do the NST too so we went from there to leaving a urine sample and worrying a little cause there was a little spotting. The nurse said could have been me losing my mucus plug but Hamel said it could be just cause he aggravated it. We went to the NST, got hooked up and it was reassuring laying there listing to her heartbeat. R and I were talking while I was hooked up about how again we weren't ready for something like this in the apt. We knew everything was better at this point but still to have him be so worried was what worried us the most. I knew I could feel her moving around but seeing him worried made me worried. After the nurse thought the NST looked good, she ripped off the sheet and took it to the Dr to look at... that's when I turned to the machine and took the little piece that was still in there that showed her moving around! I thought a little keep sake since she's only had how many NST's done!

After Hamel looked at the NST he came in to talk to us. You could tell that he felt a lot better then when he was first looking for the heartbeat. He mentioned that if we don't go into labor this weekend on our own, he wants us to come in Monday to see how things are going again cause he feels that 3 days is okay between the NST and if we come in on Monday and things are the same, we will talk about scheduling something for within the week!

After we unlocked ourselves from the office door, cause we were the last people to leave for the day, we got out into the hallway and said "so we are going into labor this weekend?" Just the way he said it and how he said it twice about if we don't go into labor ourselves this weekend...

But it's Sunday now writing this, and still no contractions and no signs that I know of. So as of right now we are just waiting it out for the rest of the weekend and we have an Apt on Monday at 1:20pm- we will see what happens between now and then and if everything goes the same till Monday, we will go in and see what he says, but it sounds like Little Miss Troublemaker could be here by next week!
